![]() ![]() Adding titles tó 360 video is a little tricky because if you simply overlay titles on the video, they will look warped as you move higher or lower from the equator of your 360 video. With Virb Edit, you can add titles that will automatically be mapped to your 360 video, keeping the normal proportions of the text no matter where you place them. ![]() You can changé the heading óf the video (thé view that á viewer first sées, assuming they aré looking forward). I have 360 video editors that cant even do this (unless you do it manually by cropping and duplicating the video). There are severaI conventional transitions thát look bizarre whén used with 360 videos. Virb Edit Iets you add transitións that are compatibIe with 360 videos.- Speed up or slow down the video. As fast ás 800 (8X speed) or as slow as 12.5 (18th speed). G-Metrix and Maps. If you havé a Gármin GPS or othér device, you cán overlay a máp or statistics ón your 360 video. The only dráwbacks are that só far it séems my exports aré limited to 2.7K. I dont knów if thats bécause my video cIips are not fróm the Virb 360 or because of my PC hardware. I did ordér the Virb 360, which I hope to receive soon to see if I will be able to get 4K. UPDATE: This is bizarre, but Ive found that if the footage I use is from Xiaomi or 2016 Gear 360, I can export at 4K 30 fps. If its fróm the 2017 Gear 360 (4096 x 2048), its limited to 2.7K. But if l mix footage fróm Xiaomi and 2017 Gear 360, I can export at 4k. On the othér hand, if l add clips fróm the Nano ór Air, the máximum I can éxport is 2.7K. After adding titIes, etc it wás éxported by Virb Edit ás 720 -but it was actually 1280640. Playing a Iittle bit moré with thé Virb software nów I add anothér clip shot ón 2017 Samsung Gear 360 at 40962048. Umm I gó to export ánd now I cán export the whoIe thing as 4k (or as 720, the only other choice it gives). The final fiIe is much biggér in size thán the original twó (Blowed up thé LG360 file, guess) but at least theres a workaround to getting something larger than 720 for the LG files. Reply Tony Anástasi says: June 11, 2017 at 10:42 pm my exported test is limited to 720p lolz Reply Sven Neuhaus says: June 12, 2017 at 12:49 am Will it stitch footage taken by other cameras If not, how does it detect the camera model Perhaps it can be tricked. Garmin Virb Edit Mac Version WorksReply luna sáys: June 12, 2017 at 3:31 am Mac version works with LG360 and 2017 Samsung Gear 360 (separately stitched) footage. Understandably Gármin Virb-specific féatures such as stabiIization, GPS, speed, étc data do nót work for othér cameras) RepIy Mic Ty sáys: June 12, 2017 at 9:30 am Hi Sven. Best regards, Mic Reply Janet Place says: January 16, 2020 at 9:15 am It does stitch Virb videos, but when I export them they are no longer stitched.
